If you haven’t heard about Momentum, I wrote about the group back in June. The brand new startup accelerator is a great example of entrepreneurs supporting one another. What started just a few months ago as a WhatsApp group with a number of MIT entrepreneurs quickly turned into a student run accelerator with over 40 teams.
On Friday, a summer of hard work culminated in over twenty of the Momentum teams participating in Demo Day at MIT’s iHQ. The event was packed, and attended by a number of venture firms from Boston and beyond.

Inclusive.ly is a solution designed to help people, teams, and organizations create a more inclusive culture by starting with communication. Rearchchain is working to decentralize science, by creating NFTs that allow researchers to retain authorship of their work and earn royalties (researchain.net)
Gleen empowers you to be a more conscious consumer by giving you the scoop on the social and environmental impact of your favorite businesses and brands. Their proprietary “gleen score” helps quantify the planet and people impact of an individual’s aggregate spending (https://gleen.app)

Launchboard is empowering new hires through intentional knowledge sharing. Their platform promotes 1:1 partnerships at work, by allowing new hires to build their own learning plan from an organization wide menu of topics (https://launchboard.ai/)
Folioficcient is building Sentiment and Risk models for hedge funds and institutional asset managers in cryptocurrencies. They’re targeting hedge funds and institutional investors between 50MM - 500MM AUM that are deployed with crypto currency assets and derivatives (https://www.foliofficient.com)
Fortisana is a wellness app designed for students to connect about stigmatized topics. Their goal is to help college-aged students better understand their mind, body, identity, and relationships and set them up for long-term health and wellness (https://fortisanahealth.com)
Privma is democratizing access to private market investing. Their platform aims to provide access, education, and a digital-first customer experience to anyone looking to invest in the private markets (https://privma.godaddysites.com)
Nona + Desalination is making portable desalination easy and sustainable. Developed in an MIT lab, their proprietary technology allows users to turn seawater into drinking water with nothing but the sun, at a production rate high enough to support a small group. They also won this year’s MIT 100K Competition (Nona+ Desalination)
Allay is helping people create the vacation of their dreams. Their platform empowers travel content creators to engage directly with followers to provide bespoke advice and itineraries (https://www.tryallay.app)
Zhennovate is empowering a diverse workforce with scalable professional coaching. Over 80% of the organizations in the U.S. hire professional coaches to boost the performance of their executives, but Zhennovate believes this expertise should be more readily available to all (https://zhennovate.com)
Moss is building a digestible communication platform for the 90% of Web3 users who are not experts at navigating the space. Nonfungible Analytics is building AI recommendation engines for web3
Boston Quantum is a quantum computing enterprise software startup, which will enable companies to realize the quantum advantage.
